All set for architecture biennial
The Puerto Rico Association of Architects and Landscape Architects will hold the 11th edition of the Puerto Rico Architecture Biennial from Nov.17-30 at Paseo de la Princesa in Old San Juan.
The event will recognize the best in local architecture over the past five years.
Over 30 architects and landscape architects have submitted 54 projects for the competition. Architects will compete in two categories — Built Projects and Unbuilt Projects — that will include individual buildings, urban planning, landscape architecture, interiors, restoration, among others. The competition will be judged by Costa Rican architect Bruno Stagno, and Puerto Rican architects Armando Vargas and Barcelona resident Mónica Rivera.
Architect Eugenio Ramírez will guide a tour of the exhibition on Nov. 22 at 4:30 pm at Paseo de la Princesa. The conference, exhibition and guided tour will all be free of charge.
